I wondered how to create some 3D thingeys in Flash, so I start messing around with a block in perspective. There was a lot more math in there than I thought :P

You can drag the block around by dragging the !front corner!, and you can adjust the height and the width and the Y position of the horizon.

UPDATE 05-aug-2008:
Now the box will remain the same size, so it doesn't look weird anymore at the corners, and I also added the new feature to choose the width and length seperately, so now it doesn't have to be a square anymore :D. Thnx everybody for all the comments and faves!

(Check out my Perspective utility which uses 1 vanishing point here [link])

Daily Deviation

Given 2010-10-28
Perspective V1.1 by ~CrashDummyNL. Suggested by multiple people, this deviation makes the task of tackling perspective easier. The suggestors wrote: Alikurai:- "For one thing, this is amazing! And sooo helpful. I've been studying compositing for a while, and as an artist I know how important the knowledge of perspective is, and many people just can't really grasp the concept of perspective." GermanyTwoGermany:- "My reason for this suggestion: I never really care to suggest DDs. But as someone who suffers with the constant challenges of perspectives, I found this incredibly helpful and hope as a DD, it could help many others. " --- As for me... I think I'll most definately find myself coming back to this in the future, a brilliant utility for all artists! ( Featured by Gashu-Monsata )

This is extremely practical. Way better than using a box or book or something.
